Speaker Bio

• Datuk Dr. Kenny Ng Bee Ken is the managing partner of the law of firm Azri, Lee Swee Seng & Co where he specialises, inter alia, in commercial and corporate law, and mediation of shareholders and family disputes.

• He worships in Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur where he served as chairman from 1988 till 1993, and then as an elder from 1993 till 2017.

• Active in 20 plus NGO's in serving the Christian community in particular and civil society in general including as Chairman of Rhema Radio, trustee of Dignity for Children, adviser to SPICES, Chairman of Pastor Raymond Koh Trust Fund, adviser to TARUC Alumni Association, member of Audit Committee of TARUC Education Foundation etc. He was also the former national chairman of the EvangelicalFree Church of Malaysia.

• As a lawyer he advocates and fights for justice pro bono for the poor and marginalised such as the aboriginal people, religious freedom such as Lina Joy case and all the 3 Allah cases etc. He is also called to be a peace maker in the market place.

• Also active in the corporate world where he serves as an independent director in 5 public listed companies.

• In recognition of his distinguished contribution to society he was knighted by the King of Malaysia in 2011.

• He is blissfully married to Diane since 1980 with 3 children: Esther who is an artist, Pauline a non-practising lawyer, and Joseph who has just graduated from law school in University of Aberystwyth, Wales, and now pursuing his English Bar examination in Cardiff University as a member of Middle Temple.
